Nuru is Managing Partner at M/S Hassan Madowo Said Advocates, where she practices Commercial and Corporate transactional law and manages a team of 5 lawyers.
Nuru specializes in matters involving privatization and securitization in various industries and has negotiated and structured a number of domestic acquisitions and joint Ventures.
She has also conducted research on various aspects of Islamic Finance products including Murahaba, Mudaraba and Sukuk (Islamic Bonds) and researched and has written a paper on Regulating Islamic Banking and Financial institutions in Kenya.
Nuru is a member of Member of the Law Society of Kenya and a Non-Life Member of the
Advocates Benevolent Association. She is currently pursuing her Masters in Corporate Governance and Financial Services Law from University of Nairobi. She holds an LL.B. from University of Nairobi, and Post Graduate Diploma in Law, from Kenya School of Law.
